Saltwater sandals for me and my girl

Pink and gold Saltwaters

Saltwater sandals

One of my favourite things about summer is the weather being warm enough to cast aside my socks and slip my feet into some sandals – and these Saltwater ones are my current crush. Made from leather but strong enough to be worn in water and put through the wash, they are the perfect sandal for beach lovers and practical, stylish mamas everywhere.

I’m usually found in Birkenstocks or flip flops, but decided to try a pair of Saltwaters this year. I was finally persuaded by the fact that you can buy matching ones for kids, and although I didn’t get the same style for myself and Florence, I went for the same colour. I’ve got a bit of a thing for metallic sandals, so chose these matt gold ones for us both. As you can see on the photos, I ordered a pink pair for her to try too but decided the gold were more neutral (and matched mine!).

What do you think? Have you ever tried Saltwaters? What’s your fave summer footwear?

X Julia

PS All opinions are my own, I haven’t been contacted by Saltwater or paid for this review. I just love these shoes and wanted to share them with you.

They look really great! I love that you went for the matching colour too. I haven’t seen them here in Australia, I wonder if we have them. The kids ones look comfy too

I invested in some this year and I can’t stop looking at my feet! I love them so much. I was tempted to get some for Roscoe so we could do twinsies but as he can’t walk I think I’ll wait til next year – I’m sure I’ll be wearing them next year.

They are lovely aren’t they? I’ve got a yellow pair and I do love them. I’d absolutely love another pair but they’re quite pricey โ€” have to wait until I’ve got a little bit of spending money!! ๐Ÿ™‚

They look so good and I didn’t know they were waterproof which is even better. They’re absolutely adorable on your little girl!
