Sock puppet socks from ChattyFeet

(null)

My socks are usually a pretty plain black or grey, and compared with my son’s brightly coloured ones or my daughter’s patterned tights, they look pretty boring to say the least. Well today I ditched the mundane and dressed my feet up in a pair of purple socks with a picture of a rather bold looking lady on – also known as ‘La Diva’.

These socks, made by ChattyFeet, come in a wide range of designs for adults and children and even come in matching family sets. When I was asked if I wanted to try a pair, I chose the La Diva style for myself, a superhero Commander Awesome pair for my son and the Moko Ono doll design for my little girl.

We had fun trying them out and wiggling our toes to make them talk – my son even spent a while doing a headstand next to the sofa to make his funny face feet stand the right way round! They all have the design on the top and bottom so they can double up as sock puppets when they’re not keeping your tootsies warm.

If you fancy checking out the other designs, you will find the Kate Middle-Toe ( who might just remind you of a certain Duchess) which caught the eye of Vogue magazine, and the Don Cottone style if you fancy something a bit more gangster.

There are 19 different styles, with the company commissioning illustrators from all over the world to design for them. Made in Portugal, they feel really good quality and are soft and comfortable to wear. They certainly went down well in our house, and I think they’d make a brilliant present idea for a child’s birthday.

ChattyFeet have five family sets of their Mr Grrrril design to give away, you can enter on their website now until 23 February. Good luck!

X Julia
