The start of the summer break is always a good time to stock up on activity books for the kids; I usually invest in a couple before the holidays to keep the kids entertained on long journeys, or just to give them something to do while they’re at home.
These three are amazing quality, original books from an independent company called B Small Publishing. They say they do what they know best, that being foreign language learning and creative, hands-on non-fiction for kids.
They certainly are books you will love to leaf through and they’re so eye-catching for little ones. With their gorgeous artwork and bold colours, I’ll be popping these in my children’s rucksacks for our summer holiday this year.
The Great Extendable Colouring Book will be a great one for them to work on together, as it has seven different scenes to colour which you can tear out of the book to keep or put on the wall.
The Infographics for Kids and Space Explorer ones are designed for ages six and up and will be perfect for Sam and his friend Joe to read and work on on the plane.
The Space Explorer has a few pages of bright neon stickers at the back, which really are cool and more arty than your average kids’ book. Any of these titles would make great gifts as well as holiday entertainment for your own little ones. I like giving books as they are just so useful (and always welcomed by parents).
Since we received the books, Sam has been glued to the Infographics one, even taking it with him to school for a few days and showing his teacher. As I’m supposed to be learning more about making infographics at work, I think I’d learn a thing or two from it as well!
I took some photos of him looking at the books over his breakfast, which is why his lack of t-shirt as it has been pretty warm at night lately 🙂
B Small Publishing are giving you the chance to win an Infographics for Kids book, all you have to do is enter using the rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
If you have a look at their website there are some great reading ideas for kids, and some free printable activity sheets too. The French beach words one is pretty cool!
