Sylvanian Families giveaway

Florence and Sylvanian Families

Sylvanian Families house

If Sylvanian Families had been around when I was young, I can tell you I would have had an obsession with them I’m sure. I used to love little toys and especially things you could collect, and thing about these guys is that they look so cute and pretty classy compared with a lot of the plastic figures you can buy. I have spent so long looking over the catalogue I hardly bear to admit it, I’ve already picked out which sets I’d like to buy and which accessories can go with which animals. I know, I know, I am way too old for this but luckily I have a daughter and she is just the right age to start a mini Sylvanian obsession.

My son never owned any, I’m not really sure why, I know he was eyeing up the caravan and ice cream van play sets but I think maybe by then I thought he had outgrown them a bit. We were sent a Cosy Cottage Starter Home and a family of labradors to try out, and both Sam and Florence have spent ages playing with them. Florrie is more into them I must admit, she spends ages putting them to bed, tucking them in and saying ‘shhhh’ before getting them up again. They don’t last long with their clothes on I have to say – what is it about toddlers and a need to undress every toy which wears them? I’ve spent more time dressing these tiny dogs than I care to imagine, so it’s a good job I’m secretly enjoying it!

We’ve got a Chocolate Labrador family to give away, and all you need to do is enter using the rafflecopter form below.

Good luck!

x Julia

I loved Sylvanian Families as a child. I remember that my grandfather spent ages putting a cottage together the night before my birthday. They are gorgeous. And I can’t wait to start getting them for Little Miss H. A fab competition lovely lady. Hugs Mrs H xxxx

My eldest daughter collected Sylvanian families when she was young, my girls have a couple of families but they adore anything animal related so they’d love some more. And yes, they do get undressed a lot.

I wanted these so bad as a little girl, but I never did get them. Maybe I’ll get my daughter some for Christmas and she will let me play (take over).
