Bobble Hat Day for the NSPCC

IMG_1440.JPG

This Christmas, our children are looking forward to a magical few weeks filled with parties, presents, family time and lots and lots of love. My son has clearly been learning about the real message of Christmas at school, because he keeps telling us it’s not all about the presents, it’s about love, sharing and being with those you care about the most. So sweet.

But not everyone is that lucky. Some children don’t have a happy family life and find this time of year isolating, lonely and upsetting. For those children, picking up the phone and hearing a friendly voice can be a lifesaver. The NSPCC’s Childline service took calls from 23,000 people last year, but needs to raise money all your round to keep it going.

You can help by joining in with this year’s Bobble Hat Day. All you need to do is wear your best bobble hat on Wednesday 10 December and text to donate. I’ll be joining in, will you?

If you’d like to take part, text ‘bobble’ to 70744 to donate £2 to the NSPCC.

You can tweet your pictures to @NSPCC using the hashtag #BobbleHatDay

Ps Here I am with my two, sporting our Christmas hats! Forgive the wonky picture, it was 8.20am on our way to school.

X Julia
