Black and Sigi jewellery is a firm favourite accessory of mine. If you look at practically any photo taken of me in the past few months I’m nearly always wearing my current favourite piece of theirs, the gold Mini Aphrodite.
It’s a small wire-wrapped circle on a chain, just the right size for everyday and it goes with absolutely everything in my wardrobe. It’s one of those things that you just get and know it’s meant to be yours; I have lots of little gold necklaces but none as pretty as this. I’ve got the matching earrings too, which I’ve worn on a few nights out and they really look good with the necklace.
I was sent a few pieces from the Spring Summer 2016 range by the lovely sisters behind the brand, Clio and Athena Sigismondi.
I first discovered their designs after I wore the Juno necklace to the MAD Blog Awards last year, and since then have treated myself to a few more pieces from their collection, like the matching Juno bangle.
Their designs are simple and stylish, and I get asked a lot where my jewellery is from whenever I wear it. I’m a little bit addicted to their instagram account too, lots of photos of their travels and different ways of styling and stacking their bangles and rings.
When the new range came out this year there was one piece I knew I had to have – the Spring Rose necklace.
It’s a statement pink and white necklace which is just a really happy thing to wear. I mean just look at it – doesn’t it make you want to smile?! I wore it with a pale pink dress at the Cheshire Woman of the Year Awards and it felt really special. See the cheesy smiley photo of me below. You would think from reading this that I go to lots of awards dos – well sadly I don’t, but when I do it seems I wear Black and Sigi!
You can see a couple of different ways I’ve worn the necklaces in my photos.
