We’ve spent a bit of time this morning making this poppy for my son’s school assembly on Armistice Day.
Today we will be remembering our grandfathers and my father-in-law, who took part in the first and second world wars, as well as all the men and women of the armed forces past and present. Who are you remembering today?

November 9, 2014 at 9:03 pmI remembered my grandpa who served in the Second World War. A very sad day. Important that we never forget. We went to Mass this morning and Abide With Me never ever fails to make me cry.

November 12, 2014 at 1:05 pmFantastic Poppy – I was just remembering everyone, there is no one specific to us that was involved (that I know of) so I was just remembering and thankful for everyone who did their part!
