I shared with you last week the beautiful papercut made for me by my friend Caro. Well I think I’m going to have to clear some space on the walls, because I seem to have developed a thing for buying new pictures.
Not only that, but I’ve been given another gorgeous one too, a portrait of our family by local artist Jenny Dunlop. It’s a happy little scene of the four of us, designed I’m not sure how but I’m guessing by photographs passed to her by my friend Karen, who writes a blog about family days out called Mini Travellers (check it out if you haven’t already, she has three girls under 5 so knows how to travel with kids!) It’s such a lovely picture, and one which I’ll treasure forever. If only we could stay that way, smiling and happy under a rainbow.
I just wanted to share it with you as it’s so nice, and to say a huge thank you to both Karen and Jenny for making another special memory.
PS The two little pots were a wedding anniversary gift from one of my best friends Joanne, and are by Cornish artist Jill Holland. Beautiful, aren’t they?
X Julia
